Who I Work With

I support clients who are seeking to integrate insights into actions that reflect their truth and integrity so they can show up for themselves and their communities with greater capacity for compassion and care.

I work best with clients who are depth and meaning oriented and curious about experiencing themselves and life in new ways. They tend to be skilled at intellectualizing trauma and struggles, but may struggle to really feel it.

I work with folks who find themselves in a transitional period of life. They may be contemplating how to make sense of who they were versus who they are now. Some may be learning how to live with chronic illness, processing an autism diagnosis, exploring their gender, or longing to rewrite the stories and beliefs they inherited that were never theirs to begin with.

I enjoy working with artists and activists who want space to explore identity, meaning, and the impacts of the polycrisis without being pathologized for their intensity. I affirm and support polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous partnerships.

I support clients who are working through institutionalized harm, specifically with regard to the medical system and religion.

I welcome clients who hold spiritual, mystical, philosophical, or non-traditional frameworks for understanding their lives and can incorporate spirituality into our work together, such as tarot and archetype work. I will never mention or suggest such practices unless it is directly brought up by the client. But if you’re witchy or weird, you’re welcome here.

How I Work

I don’t believe in hierarchal structures and view therapy as collaborative and relational. I operate under principles of disability justice and liberation-oriented psychology. I believe much of our distress makes sense in the context of the systems and institutions that govern us. As Jiddu Krishnamurti once said, “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” I firmly believe this to be true.

My approach is eclectic and incorporates IFS informed interventions, parts work, somatic and meditative practices, and EMDR. If you are looking for a clinician who primarily uses CBT or talk based methods, I am likely not the best fit.

I utilize parts work as a primary tool in helping clients become curious about their complexity and wholeness, while growing their relationship with “self-energy” so they may learn to lead from this place. We explore needs, longings, and what is actually true for them now.

As neurodivergent clients often struggle with interoception and proprioception, I like to incorporate somatic practices and sensory integration to build safety and connection within the body. I find this particularly helpful for clients experiencing chronic illness and trauma or who are on a gender journey who have learned to disconnect from their physical bodies out of survival.
