A journal read aloud
Contemplations and Hyperfixations is a collection of essays read over soundscapes, the daily existential loops that need a place to land outside my brain, and a container to process illness and change. These are the obsessions and questions that keep me up at night.
This isn't a show about moving through something and arriving at a conclusion. It's the experience of being in it, as honestly as I can be. I'm not here to teach you anything. I'm here to tell the truth out loud and invite you to sit with me while I do.
Here you'll find contemplations on chronic illness, mysticism, spirituality, collective liberation, queerness, autism, disability justice, mortality, and trauma, and what it actually feels like to live in a body that asks for so much tending.
For the chronically ill, the autistics and mystics, the queer and trans and disabled. For the ones unlearning what they were taught about their own bodies and their own worth. For anyone awake at 2am with the same loops running.
